I picked up a camera properly in 2019 and haven't put it down since. What started as weekend second-shooting turned into a full diary of weddings, portrait sessions, corporate shoots and matric farewells across the Western Cape and well beyond it.
Along the way I've worked with brands including Mr South Africa, though the work I'm proudest of is usually quieter than that. A father seeing his daughter for the first time. Groomsmen who forgot the camera was there. The photographs nobody asked for and everybody keeps.
Mostly, I stay out of the way
I'll direct when direction helps, whether that's family formals or a portrait set at last light, and then I disappear again. The posed shots are the ones you'll frame for your parents. The unposed ones are the ones you'll still be looking at in twenty years.
